Welcome to Bay Meadows Resort

Bay Meadows Resort, nestled comfortably in the picturesque vicinity of Big Bear Lake, is a charming destination for those seeking an enchanting getaway. With a solid rating of 4.4 stars, this resort promises a blend of comfort, warm hospitality, and beautiful surroundings. Located at 39756 Big Bear Blvd, it is ideally situated for both adventure and relaxation.

Guests have raved about their experiences, highlighting the resort's clean accommodations and comfortable beds. Kevin Conklin remembers his three-night stay fondly, praising the quiet and cleanliness that made his retreat enjoyable. Doug Berg's pet-friendly experience showcases the resort's inclusiveness, allowing families to bring their furry friends along for the adventure.

Ferny Orozco Becerra emphasizes the cozy ambiance of the rooms, complete with fireplaces that enhance the warmth of the stay during cold evenings. The staff's kindness and local insights, such as recommendations for delicious breakfast spots, further add to the resort's charm. The beautiful outdoor setup with tables, a fire pit, and swing benches creates an inviting atmosphere for guests to unwind.

Regular visitors like Mary Styler appreciate the resort's consistent quality and the exemplary customer service provided by staff member Ulysis. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor have made every visit memorable for Mary and her family. For those needing special arrangements, like a king-sized bed, the resort ensures that specific requests are met with care.

Moreover, the resort’s amenities cater to various needs, including free Wi-Fi, a pool, and pet-friendly options. Despite its slightly older establishment, the resort's rooms maintain a cozy and home-like feel, as noted by Sascha “Alex” Ferda, whose spacious cabin provided a pleasant refuge. The surrounding campground adds to the quaint appeal, especially for solo travelers and their pets.

However, guests should note that the resort is not as close to the main strip, which may limit walking access to restaurants and entertainment options. But as Greg Palavivatana points out, this small detail does not overshadow the resort's charm and the helpfulness of the staff, making it easy to choose Bay Meadows Resort for a repeat stay.

In summary, Bay Meadows Resort is an idyllic blend of comfort, service, and natural beauty. Whether you are looking to hit the slopes at nearby Snow Summit or simply relax by the fire pit, this resort is an excellent choice for families, couples, and solo travelers alike. With devoted staff members and thoughtfully designed amenities, it truly is a hidden gem in Big Bear Lake.

Great spot for a weekend getaway! The room is very cozy and has a fireplace to make it even cozier. The people that work there are very kind and sweet. They guided us to a breakfast spot that is delicious. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here its worth the money, and they have a beautiful setup outside with tables, a fire pit, and a swing bench.

We visit Big Bear on pretty much a monthly basis. I have gotten to know the staff and Ulysis is pretty much why we keep coming back! My husband is very tall so we need a King size bed and they have one cabin that has one. We have now been coming up there for about 6 years and receive the very best customer service from Ulysis. He remembers me each time we come and is so helpful and friendly. I keep coming back because he makes it so easy for me! He is a credit to the company!

This a such a cute hotel. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable. I only wish they offered a king sized bed. It's a beautiful grounds. The only down side is it's not close to the main strip so not alot of food options walking distance. But that's not a big deal. The staff is super nice and was will to help us. We already booked out next stay here.

This is an older resort consisting of buildings with one or more rooms. Our cabin was spacious, clean, and felt very residential. It appeared to have been remodeled relatively recently. There were soft spots in the floor of the spacious bathroom by one of the doors. Our cabin did not have AC. The pool was nice but unheated and the spa water was murky. The office was locked when we arrived to check in. The staff intercom function did not work. After looking around the property we found an employee who asked us to wait. after about 15 minutes we were able to check in. The property is currently listed for sale.

Nice, just went up for a Day, didn't want to drive home. A little old style, didn't want to play with computers, computer locks. Big reservations center. Check with power cituation before driving up. Cutting power on Windy days.

It’s always hard to find reasonably priced accommodations for a solo traveler with a dog. Bay Meadows offered a great value for me & my pup, especially being close to all the attractions of Big Bear Lake. I appreciated the quaintness and cleanliness of my room and reliability of the WiFi. The campground surrounding the cabins is adorable as well. My biggest complaint with this property is how not only do sounds travel easily through the shared walls, but so do footsteps. If your neighbors are heavy footed, or have children that like to run around, you’ll hear every step. So, better hope your neighbors are conscientious of this, otherwise it sounds like Sasquatch is walking around next door. And while it is a pet-friendly place and I’m a huge dog-lover, it wasn’t appreciated when an off-leash aggressively barking Doberman cornered my dog and me back into my car as we were trying to get out one afternoon.
